Choose formulas or optional VBA
Quantity × price, margins and conditional summaries can use formulas without macros. Request VBA explicitly for repeatable automation. Macro-free results use .xlsx; workbooks containing macros use .xlsm.
Check the generated template
Review sheet and column names, then enter a known example to check calculations. Read the changes, download a copy and continue requesting adjustments. Specify business assumptions instead of asking the model to guess them.
Example request to copy into the workspace
Create a sales template with 20 blank rows: Order ID, Product, Quantity, Unit Price and Amount. Calculate Amount as Quantity × Unit Price and leave it blank without an Order ID. Format headers and show two decimal places. No fabricated data or macros.
